01·Introduction
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the referral programme ("Programme") operated by Float Financial AB, a company incorporated in Sweden ("Float", "we", "us", "our").
The Programme allows eligible participants to refer potential customers to Float in exchange for rewards. By submitting a referral, you ("Referrer", "you", "your") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Float reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Programme, or to amend these Terms, at any time and without prior notice. Any changes will be published on this page. Referrals submitted before the effective date of a change remain governed by the Terms in effect at the time of submission.
02·Definitions

Draw: A disbursement of funds from Float to a customer under an active funding agreement, excluding rollovers or extensions of existing funding transactions.
Milestone: A qualifying event that triggers a reward, as described in Section 6.
Prospect: The company or business entity that the Referrer introduces to Float through the Programme.
Prospect Contact: The individual within the Prospect organisation whose details the Referrer submits through the referral form.
Referral: A submission made by the Referrer through the referral form on floatfinance.com/referral or through the referral form within Float's platform, introducing a Prospect to Float.
Referral Window: The six (6) month period beginning on the date Float receives a completed referral form.
Sign-up Conversion Window: The three (3) month period beginning on the date the Prospect creates a Float account, within which the Prospect must complete a first Draw of at least €100,000 for the discount reward under Section 5.2 to be earned. This window applies to the discount reward track only.
03·Eligibility
3.1 Who can refer
The Programme is open to any individual or entity, including but not limited to investors, advisers, accountants, founders, and operators. You do not need to be a Float customer to participate.
3.2 Exclusions
The following are not eligible to earn rewards under the Programme:
- (a) Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and shareholders of Float, and their immediate family members or household members.
- (b) Any person or entity that is an affiliate, subsidiary, parent company, or employer of the Prospect.
- (c) The Prospect itself, including its employees, officers, or directors submitting a self-referral.
3.3 Prospect criteria
A Prospect must meet all of the following criteria at the time of the referral:
- (a) Operates a SaaS, AI, or digital subscription business model with recurring revenue.
- (b) Has at least two (2) years of revenue history.
- (c) Has annual recurring revenue (ARR) of at least €1,000,000.
- (d) Demonstrates year-on-year revenue growth of at least 20%.
- (e) Burns less than 30% of revenue.
- (f) Is incorporated or primarily operating in one of the following markets: United Kingdom, Nordics (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland), DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Benelux (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg), Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Ireland, or Spain.
- (g) Has a senior decision-maker (founder, CEO, CFO, or equivalent) available as the Prospect Contact.
Float determines in its sole discretion whether a Prospect meets these criteria. Meeting the criteria listed above does not guarantee that a Prospect will be accepted or that Float will enter into a business relationship with the Prospect.
3.4 Ineligible Prospects
A Prospect is not eligible for the Programme if, at the time of the referral:
- (a) The Prospect already holds an active Float account.
- (b) The Prospect is already in active commercial discussions with Float.
- (c) The Prospect has previously been referred to Float by another Referrer.
- (d) The Prospect has previously applied to Float directly.
Float determines eligibility in its sole discretion.
04·Submitting a referral
4.1 Referral form
To submit a referral, complete the referral form at floatfinance.com/referral or, if you are an Active Float Customer, through the referral form within Float's platform. The following information is required:
About you: First name, last name, and work email address.
About the referral: Prospect Contact's first name, last name, work email address, and company website.
A referral is counted from the moment Float receives a completed form submission.
4.2 Consent
Before submitting a referral, the Referrer must obtain the Prospect Contact's explicit prior consent to share their personal data with Float for the purposes of the Programme.
4.3 Duplicate referrals
Only one referral per Prospect is recognised. If multiple Referrers submit the same Prospect, only the first completed submission is eligible for rewards. Float determines priority based on the timestamp of form submission.
05·Reward tracks
The Programme offers two reward tracks. The applicable track depends on whether the Referrer is an Active Float Customer at the time of the referral submission.
5.1 Cash reward track
The cash reward track is open to all eligible Referrers, regardless of whether they are Float customers.
Cash rewards are paid at two milestones:
The maximum cash reward per Prospect is €2,250 (€250 + €2,000).
5.2 Discount reward track
The discount reward track is available exclusively to Referrers who are Active Float Customers at the time of the referral submission. To qualify, the Referrer must hold an active Float account in good standing with no overdue repayments and must have completed at least one Draw.
Upon the Prospect reaching Milestone 2 (first Draw of at least €100,000), the Referrer earns a 0.5 percentage point reduction on the financing fee of the Referrer's next new Draw.
This discount is subject to the following conditions:
- (a) Applies only to new Draws and excludes rollovers or extensions of existing funding transactions.
- (b) Applies to the Referrer's next new Draw only. A discount cannot be applied retroactively to a Draw that is already in progress.
- (c) Stacks across multiple qualifying referrals up to a maximum of three (3) referrals per Draw. Each qualifying referral adds a 0.5 percentage point reduction, up to a maximum reduction of 1.5 percentage points on any single Draw.
- (d) Is subject to a per-Draw cap of €5,000 in total discount value. If the discount amount calculated on a Draw exceeds €5,000, the discount applied to that Draw is limited to €5,000. The per-Draw cap resets with each new qualifying Draw.
- (e) Must be used within three (3) months from the date the discount is earned. If the Referrer does not initiate a qualifying new Draw within this period, the unused discount expires and no compensation is payable in lieu.
- (f) Has no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, redeemed for cash, or refunded.
- (g) Is determined and applied by Float at the time of the Referrer's next qualifying Draw.
5.3 Track selection
Active Float Customers are eligible for either reward track but must choose one track per referral at the time of submission. The selected track cannot be changed after the referral has been submitted.
- (a) If the Referrer selects the cash reward track, rewards are governed by Section 5.1. No fee discount is earned for that referral.
- (b) If the Referrer selects the discount reward track, rewards are governed by Section 5.2. No cash reward is earned for that referral.
A Referrer may select different tracks for different referrals. For example, a Referrer may choose the cash reward track for one referral and the discount reward track for another.
06·Referral Window and timelines
6.1 Cash reward track timelines
The Referral Window for the cash reward track is six (6) months from the date Float receives a completed referral form. Both Milestone 1 (lead qualifies) and Milestone 2 (first Draw) must be reached within this six-month period. If the Prospect has not completed a first Draw of at least €100,000 within six (6) months of the referral submission date, the referral expires for the purposes of Milestone 2.
6.2 Discount reward track timelines
The Referral Window for the discount reward track is six (6) months from the date Float receives a completed referral form. The Prospect must sign up as a Float customer within this six-month period.
Once the Prospect has signed up, they must complete a first Draw of at least €100,000 within three (3) months of their sign-up date (the Sign-up Conversion Window). If the Prospect does not complete a qualifying Draw within this three-month window, the referral expires for the purposes of the discount reward.
6.3 Expiry
If a milestone is not reached within the applicable window described in Sections 6.1 and 6.2, no reward is payable for that milestone. Expiry of a referral does not affect rewards already earned at an earlier milestone.
07·Payment and application of rewards
7.1 Notification
Float will notify the Referrer by email when a milestone is reached and a reward becomes payable.
7.2 Cash rewards
Cash rewards are processed and paid manually by Float's team by bank transfer to the account designated by the Referrer. There are no automated payments. Float may request bank account details and any information reasonably required to process the payment. Payment timelines are at Float's reasonable discretion.
7.3 Tax
Cash rewards are stated as gross amounts. The Referrer is solely responsible for any income tax, value-added tax, social contributions, or other taxes, duties, or charges applicable in their jurisdiction. If Float is required by law to withhold or deduct any tax from a payment, the amount paid to the Referrer will be reduced accordingly, and Float will provide documentation of the withholding where required.
7.4 Fee discounts
Fee discounts under Section 5.2 are applied by Float's team to the financing fee when the Referrer initiates their next eligible Draw. The adjusted fee is reflected in the terms presented at the time of the Draw.
08·No limit on referrals
There is no cap on the number of Prospects a Referrer may refer. Each qualifying referral earns its own rewards independently, subject to the cumulative discount cap described in Section 5.2.
09·Float's discretion
Float has sole discretion over all Programme decisions, including but not limited to:
- (a) Whether a Prospect meets the eligibility criteria.
- (b) Whether a lead qualifies (Milestone 1).
- (c) Whether to offer funding to the Prospect and on what terms.
- (d) Whether a first Draw is completed (Milestone 2).
- (e) The calculation and application of any fee discount.
No reward is payable if Float's decisions prevent a milestone from being reached. Float is under no obligation to enter into a business relationship with any Prospect, and a decision not to do so does not entitle the Referrer to any compensation.
10·Marketing and communications
The Referrer may introduce Prospects to Float by personal means, including email, telephone, or conversation. The Referrer may not:
- (a) Create, publish, or distribute marketing materials, advertisements, or campaigns on behalf of Float or in Float's name.
- (b) Use Float's name, logo, trademarks, or other intellectual property without prior written consent from Float.
- (c) Make any claims, representations, or promises regarding Float's products, pricing, terms, or services that go beyond publicly available information on floatfinance.com.
- (d) Engage in unsolicited bulk communications, spam, or any form of mass outreach to generate referrals.
- (e) Imply any employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship with Float.
Any materials or content provided by Float for the purpose of the Programme may be used only as provided and may not be modified without Float's prior written consent.
11·Data protection
By submitting a referral, the Referrer confirms that they have obtained the Prospect Contact's explicit prior consent to share their personal data with Float for the purposes of the Programme.
Float processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), and Float's Privacy Policy, available at floatfinance.com/privacy-policy.
The Referrer agrees not to share with Float any personal data beyond what is requested in the referral form, and not to share any special category data (as defined under GDPR) about the Prospect Contact.
12·Fraud, abuse, and termination
12.1 Fraud and abuse
Float reserves the right to withhold, suspend, or reclaim any rewards and to immediately exclude any Referrer from the Programme if Float reasonably believes that:
- (a) A referral was submitted fraudulently, in bad faith, or through deceptive means.
- (b) The Referrer has provided false or misleading information.
- (c) The Referrer has violated these Terms.
- (d) The Referrer has engaged in conduct that damages or may damage Float's reputation or business interests.
- (e) The Referrer and the Prospect have colluded to manipulate the Programme.
12.2 Reclamation
If a reward has been paid and Float subsequently determines that it was obtained in violation of these Terms, Float reserves the right to reclaim the reward amount. The Referrer agrees to return any such amount within thirty (30) days of Float's written request.
13·Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- (a) Float's total aggregate liability under or in connection with the Programme is limited to the reward amounts stated in these Terms for the specific referral(s) giving rise to the claim.
- (b) Float is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with the Programme, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of opportunity.
- (c) Float is not liable for any delays in payment caused by incomplete or incorrect banking information provided by the Referrer.
14·No relationship
Participation in the Programme does not create any employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or fiduciary relationship between the Referrer and Float. The Referrer is an independent party and has no authority to bind Float in any way.
15·Assignment
The Referrer may not assign, transfer, or delegate their rights or obligations under these Terms, or any rewards earned, to any third party without Float's prior written consent. Any attempted assignment without such consent is void.
16·Entire agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Referrer and Float with respect to the Programme and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the Programme.
17·Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
18·Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
